First color appointments are 2.5 hours, so we never have to rush. Haircuts with Helen are 1 hour.

We're a little tucked away at 525 Kedzie Street in Evanston. If you're walking on Kedzie from the east, look for a small white Linmay sign hanging over the sidewalk. If you're coming from Chicago, you'll spot our sign on the brick wall just behind Budget Auto. Our entrance is a small glass door just to the right of the Miro building's main entrance.

New color and cut clients typically wait 1–2 months. We recommend booking your next appointment before you leave so you always have a spot.

Because Lindsay's and Helen's schedules fill quickly, same-day color and cut appointments can be hard to find. For your first visit, we recommend booking them separately so you can get in sooner. Once you're a regular, we'll help you coordinate both.

Gray blending is more than a technique. It's also about the products we choose and what goes into your hair. Depending on your starting point and goals, reaching your ideal result may take more than one appointment. Think of it as a journey rather than a one-day transformation. Our prices include gratuity, so there's no need to tip. We're also a cashless salon.

Adjustments for both color and cuts are complimentary within two weeks of your service. Just reach out by email.

We require 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations are charged 50% of the service, and no-shows are charged in full.

We are a cashless + receptionless salon.
All scheduling must be done online or via email.
We require 48 hours notice to cancel/move an appointment; in the case 48 hours notice is not given for a cancellation, 50% of the service will be charged. No Show appointments will be charged 100% of scheduled service and will need to be paid prior to future scheduling.
Adjustments must be made within two weeks of initial service.
